Universal Orlando Reveals First Look Inside ‘Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment’

Universal Orlando Resort has revealed a first look inside one of their most terrifying new attractions coming to Universal Epic Universe! The attraction, called Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment will be located inside the Dark Universe World.

In this attraction, there will be more than a dozen of Universal’s legendary monsters – which will include Frankenstein’s Monster, Dracula, The Creature from the Black Lagoon, and The Wolf Man. These animated features will be some of the most advanced features we’ve seen, ready to immerse you into the Dark Universe World.

Here’s the official description of the attraction:

“Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment” will take guests deep into the catacombs of Frankenstein Manor, where Dr. Victoria Frankenstein – the great-great-granddaughter of the infamous Henry Frankenstein – conducts her twisted and misguided experiments. In a vain display of her genius, she invites guests to witness a demonstration of her ability to control monsters – but her plans go awry when a horde of enraged monsters are unleashed. Guests then embark on a terrifying ride through the darkness as they try to evade Dracula, The Wolf Man, The Creature from the Black Lagoon and more.

Frankenstein’s Moster will be nine feet — and guests will encounter it first within the queue. For Dracula, guests will encounter Dracula throughout the attraction. For Wolf Man, guests will encounter Wolf Man as they try to escape the catacombs of Frankenstein Manor. Finally, guests will encounter “Gill-man” from the depths of the Black Lagoon.

If you’re not ready to brave the ride, Universal also notes that you’ll have the opportunity to meet and greet with some of the legendary Monsters throughout the land.

Universal Epic Universe is set to open in May 2025. You can get more details here: www.UniversalOrlando.com/epicuniverse

Interview: Yu-Gi-Oh TCG Booth Tour at New York Comic Con [EXCLUSIVE]

KONAMI’s Yu-Gi-Oh booth was a hot ticket stop for New York Comic Con 2024 attendees this year. Fans kept the booth busy nonstop from Thursday through Sunday buying merchandise, looking at displays, creating custom Token Cards, and, of course, playing the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME.

Yu-Gi-Oh is a robust, long-running, and ever-expanding franchise that, after the launch of Kazuki Takahashi’s 1996 manga series, has since evolved into multiple television series, several video games, the iconic TRADING CARD GAME, and more.

When we asked our trusty KONAMI guide (who’s been playing Yu-Gi-Oh since he was 11!) what his most valuable card is after collecting for such a long period of time, he had the best possible answer. “Oh they’re all valuable to me,” he said with a smile, “It’s not about the value of the card, it’s about what it means to you. And that’s something you learn from the very first episode of Yu-Gi-Oh, actually.”
