Kim Rhodes Shares the Power of the Supernatural Family

As a fandom we hear time and time again how the Supernatural Family has supported the cast and crew. Often through simple encouragement and presence by fans, cast and crew have undergone major personal growth. While we may know many of these stories, we are always discovering more. In a very powerful post, actress Kim Rhodes discusses how The Saturday Night Special at the Supernatural Conventions and the Supernatural Family gave her the ability to sing once again. Many individuals have traveled dark places but our family helps light their path. Sometimes simply being welcomed to sing can have a major impact.

And then I flipped off everybody in the room because my heart couldn’t take any more love pouring in.

That’s the end of the story. Now I shall go back to the beginning. Which is never exactly where you think it’s going to be.

The Cast of Supernatural at the Phoenix Supernatural Convention!

The cast of the Supernatural recently visited Phoenix, Arizona as part of their convention stops this past weekend. Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, Misha Collins, Osric Chau, Kim Rhodes, Rob Benedict, Richard Speight Jr., Mark Sheppard, Matt Cohen, Ruth Connell and Samantha Smith appeared.

Supernatural conventions are highly popular and have a sense of family when you’re at them.

XBOX News from E3: New Xbox One S Announced, New Games & More!

Xbox recently held a media briefing at the E3 Convention and announced a lot of exciting news. Take a look below at all of the new, exciting things coming to Xbox, including an XBox One S.

XBox One S

Xbox unveiled the Xbox One S, which will featured 4K Ultra HD video, streamlined controller and more. It’s slimmer and 40% smaller than the original Xbox One. It will have up to 2TB Internal HDD. The starting price will be $299.

    First Look at Disney & Pixar’s Newest Short – Piper!

    Disney and Pixar Animation Studios have released a first look at their new short Piper, which is about a sandpiper hatchling that discovers finding food without mom’s help isn’t so easy.

    The short is directed by Alan Barillaro and will be shown in front of Disney and Pixar’s Finding Dory, which releases in theaters June 17, 2016.

    Teaser Trailer for Disney’s “Moana” Released!

    The teaser trailer for Disney’s next animated film, Moana, has been released! Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson voices the demigod Maui, while newcomer Auli’i Cravalho voices Moana.

    The film features music by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Opetaia Foa’i and Mark Mancina. It’s set to release on Thanksgiving Day, 2016.

    From Walt Disney Animation Studios comes “Moana,” a sweeping, CG-animated feature film about an adventurous teenager who sails out on a daring mission to save her people. During her journey, Moana (voice of Auli’i Cravalho) meets the once-mighty demigod Maui (voice of Dwayne Johnson), who guides her in her quest to become a master wayfinder. Together, they sail across the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous monsters and impossible odds, and along the way, Moana fulfills the ancient quest of her ancestors and discovers the one thing she’s always sought: her own identity.

    Fans Rally For Matt Cohen as Superman on “Supergirl”!

    With news of the show Supergirl being moved from CBS to the CW for the second season, there’s also news
    that they’ll include Superman in the next season.

    Since that announcement, fans of actor Matt Cohen have been campaigning for him to get the role. Cohen is most known for his role on the highly popular CW show Supernatural as a young John Winchester, dad to lead characters Sam and Dean Winchester. He’s also appeared on General Hospital as Griffin Munro.

    He’s definitely got the look and the resume to back up his acting, as well as already having a connection with the CW through Supernatural.

    Fans have already started a hashtag for their movement, using #MattCohenIsSuperman.

    No word yet on casting, but here’s to hoping Matt Cohen is considered.

    “Friday Night Lights” Cast Reunites at ATX Festival

    Some of the cast of the beloved series Friday Night Lights reunited at the ATX Festival in Austin, Texas last night.

    The festival included a Friday Night Lights tailgate and pep rally, where live music, tailgate activities and a screening of a fan-favorite episode took place.

    Some of the actors that participated in the reunion were Scott Porter, Adrianne Palicki, Connie Britton, Derek Phillips, Dora Madison, Gaius Charles, Grey Damon, Jesse Plemons, Louanne Stephens and more.

    Trailer for Disney’s “Elena of Avalor” Released!

    A new princess is coming to Disney! Disney released the trailer for a new series that will air on the Disney Channel, Elena of Avalor. She’s Disney’s first princess inspired by diverse Latin cultures.

    The series will air on July 22. Deadline also states that the first episode will be available on the Disney App on July 1st.

    As we previously reported before, Elena will also start meeting at Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort in August.

    Pokémon Announces Two New Zygarde Formes

    Pokémon has just announced two new Zygarde Formes that will be available in the upcoming Pokémon Sun and Moon games! In the following video that was posted on Pokémon’s official Twitter, the new Zygarde Formes as introduced as Zygarde 10% Forme and Zygarde Complete Forme. The video also announced three new moves called Thousand Arrows, Thousand Waves, and Core Enforcer.

    Pokémon Sun and Moon will be released on November 18, 2016.

    Registration Open for Pokémon US National Championships

    Pokémon announced today that registration is open for their 2016 US National Championships! The Championships will be held in Columbus, Ohio from July 1st to July 3rd. They have also announced that trainers will now get to compete in a new championship series called the Pokkén Tournament. Not interested? Trainers can still compete in the Pokémon TCG (Trading Card Game) and Video Game Championships.

    The online registration fee is $30 for Masters Division players and $15 for Junior and Senior Division players. This will include a US Nationals lanyard, and playmat. You can also purchase a premium package for an additional $30. It includes an exclusive Nationals deck box, card sleeves, and a pin. The on-site registration fee is $45 for Masters Division players and $30 for Junior and Senior Division players. Products for those registering on-site will be announced at the event.

    Registration ends on June 24, 2016. Due to limited space, they recommend that trainers register early. You can register online now at Gaming Generation. If you have any questions, you can contact Pokémon customer service.
