Disney Announces Sequel to “Wreck-It Ralph” Coming March 9, 2018!

Disney made an announcement today that they will be making a sequel to Wreck-It Ralph! They made the announcement via Facebook live!
John C. Reilly (who is the voice of Ralph) joined the live feed with Rich Moore and Phil Johnston to announce the sequel, which will be released on March 9, 2018!

Phil Johnston and Rich Moore, who co-wrote the original Wreck-It Ralph will be co-directing this sequel.

John C. Reilly (Ralph) and Sarah Silverman (Vanellope Von Schweetz) are both set to reprise their roles.

“From the moment we started working on the first Wreck-It Ralph, we knew there were so many possibilities with these characters,” said Moore, who has been developing it since shortly after the release of the first film, and while directing this year’s critically-acclaimed hit Zootopia with Byron Howard. “This time, Ralph’s wrecking wreaks havoc on the Web—as only he can do. Characters we loved in the first film are back and we are ecstatic to be working with them—and the actors who voice them—once again.”

“Captain America: Civil War” DVD & Blu-Ray Coming September 13!

Marvel has announced that Captain America: Civil War will be released on Digital HD on September 2, followed by a release on Blu-Ray and DVD on September 30!

“Captain America: Civil War” has conquered both audiences and critics, debuting to $179.1 million—the fifth-biggest domestic opening of all time—and earning a 90% critics rating on Rotten Tomatoes. “Captain America: Civil War” is the highest-grossing film of 2016 domestically, internationally and globally, earning more than $1.14 billion at the worldwide box office.

They also announced that there will be over 60 minutes of bonus material (these will ONLY be available on the Digital HD/3D & Blu-ray), including:

New Episode of “Engage: The Official Star Trek™ Podcast” Discusses The Fan Film Guidelines

On the newest episode of Engage: The Official Star Trek™ Podcast, host Jordan Hoffman welcomes John Van Citters of CBS. They discuss the new Star Trek fan film guidelines issued last week by CBS and Paramount Pictures, with Hoffman asking questions posed by fans and the two tackling individual points of the guidelines, providing tremendous insight into the process. John Van Citters also discusses his lifelong love of all things Star Trek!

“I thought it was important to give John Van Citters an opportunity not only to clarify some of the guidelines, but to let him explain the rationale behind them,” Hoffman told StarTrek.com. “There has been a lot of speculation about this process. No doubt there is a period of adjustment up ahead, but I came away from this conversation with a much clearer understanding, as well as enthusiasm for what kinds of fan films await in the future.”

“Supernatural” Season 12 Premiere Episode Title Revealed!

With Supernatural getting ready to enter it’s twelfth season on The CW, TVLine.com has revealed the title for the fall premiere episode. The episode will be titled “Keep Calm and Carry On” and is written by Andrew Dabb.

Supernatural will be returning on Thursday, October 13!

“Once Upon A Time” Fall Season Premiere Date Announced!

The fall season premiere date for the next season of ABC’s Once Upon a Time has been announced! The show will officially return on Sunday, September 25!

Entertainment Weekly previously reported that the new season will no longer have the season split into two half-seasons, each with a different story arc, but rather this season will be one season-long story arc. The show will be entering it’s sixth season in the fall.

One of the shows creators, Adam Horowitz, also teased that the first episode of season 6 will be titled “The Savior.”

“Haunted Mansion” Picture Book & CD Coming to Disney Parks!

Disney announced that a children’s book about the Haunted Mansion attraction is coming soon. It’s part of a new series from Disney Publishing called “Disney Parks Presents.”

The CD that comes with the book contains a 5-minute musical tour through the attraction, including the famous “Grim Grinning Ghosts” song by Buddy Baker and Xavier Atencio. The book is 32 pages long and the illustrations were created by James Gilleard.

The book will be released in select locations this summer at Disney Parks.

Pottermore released more details on the North American wizarding school that’s featured in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find ThemIlvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry!

It’s been officially announced that the four houses for the school are: Horned Serpent, Pukwudgie, Thunderbird and Wampus!

The houses were named after four magical creatures, that Pottermore describes below:

• Horned Serpent – a ‘great horned river serpent with a jewel set into its forehead’
• Pukwudgie – ‘a short, grey-faced, large-eared creature’
• Thunderbird – a creature that ‘can create storms as it flies’
• Wampus – ‘a magical, panther-like creature that is fast, strong and almost impossible to kill’

Call of Duty released pictures of Game of Thrones actor Kit Harrington filming for the newest Call of Duty game, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare!

New Dooney & Bourke Bags & MagicBands coming to Disney Parks!

Disney announced two new collections of handbags from Dooney & Bourke, as well as four limited edition MagicBands, containing Dooney & Bourke-inspired designs. The MagicBands will have a specially designed slider with the Dooney & Bourke logo and will be packaged in decorative boxes.

Disney will be holding a release party on Saturday, July 23 at Cherry Tree Lane inside the Marketplace Co-Op at Disney Springs and guests that attend the release party will have the chance to meet Ian Ray, the Creative Director for Dooney & Bourke. He will be at the release party from 10:30am – 12:30pm.

Disney also reports that for Disneyland, guests can look for the “It’s a small world” and the “Lovebirds” collections in select merchandise locations after this event.

New Ramona Flowers Figure From the Scott Pilgrim Comic Series

Comics Alliance announced that Mondo would be releasing a new Ramona Flowers figure from the Scott Pilgrim comic series.

The figure is based off of Ramona’s appearance in Scott Pilgrim Gets it Together, and is dressed in a pink top, with her hair blue. The Mondo exclusive figure will contain a small Scott Pilgrim.
