In honor of the Emmy® Award-winning series Game of Thrones‘ legacy, HBO is bringing Westeros to its fans by converting several Northern Ireland filming locations into tourist attractions.

These Game of Thrones Legacy attractions will be bigger and better than the public has ever before seen and will also include displays of costumes, weapons, set decorations, and other production materials. State-of-the-art digital content and interactive materials will also be available to enhance the visitor experience.

“HBO is thrilled to celebrate the work of the Game of Thrones creative team and crew by preserving these locations and inviting fans to visit Northern Ireland and explore Westeros in person,” Jeff Peters, vice president of Licensing and Retail for HBO, said in a release.

“Birds of Prey” Film Gets Release Date

0

The next film with Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) now has a release date. The film that is going to be based on the Birds of Prey comic book will be released February 7, 2020.

We will be seeing more of Harley Quinn in the next few years with films like Suicide Squad 2, a Harley & Joker film, Birds of Prey and there is still a chance for a stand-alone Harley film as well.

The all-female cast will consist of Harley Quinn, Black Canary, Huntress, and Renee Montoya. It will be directed by Cathy Yan (Dead Pigs) with the script by Christina Hodson (Unforgettable).

This is the summary currently on IMDB.

“After splitting up with The Joker, Harley Quinn and three other female superheroes — Black Canary, Huntress and Renee Montoya — come together to save the life of a little girl (Cassandra Cain) from an evil crime lord”.

The Birds of Prey comic was created by Jordan B. Gorfinkel and Chuck Dixon.

New “Fantastic Beasts” Trailer Reveals the Return of a Recognizable Character

The new and final trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald has been released, and it contains a massive amount of information and easter eggs for any fan of the original Harry Potter series, including the origin story of a very recognizable character in an interesting twist.

Actress Claudia Kim is playing none other than the (not YET a Horcrux) snake, Nagini. Her story begins with her as a circus performer who can transform into a snake at will; however, the blood curse that is on her will eventually cause the transformation to become permanent. Nagini becomes one of Credence’s (the obscurus played by Ezra Miller) only companions. EW did an interview with Kim on her role as Voldemort’s favorite companion.

Our star, Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne), continues to work closely with the Goldstein sisters, Tina (Katherine Waterston) and Queenie (Alison Sudol) along with our favorite confused No-Maj, Jacob Kowalski (Dan Fogler).

The trailer also gave more information on Newt’s brother, Theseus Scamander (Callum Turner) and Leta Lestrange (Zoe Kravitz) with Newt and Tina putting Theseus in magical handcuffs and Leta telling Newt that he’s “never met a monster he couldn’t love.”

There are also more glimpses at Hogwarts of the 1920’s and how young Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) is working behind the scenes to try and stop the war that Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) is starting between the Wizarding World and non-magical community.

Snippets of both new and old beasts are shown throughout the trailer- though no nifflers, sadly- that prove that while the story is delving into this dark history of the Wizarding World, Newt will never forsake the magical beasts he loves and cares for.

Ten new posters displaying each character were released that might give us more clues as to what awaits in this sequel. A link to view all ten posters is included below.

Lastly, to promote the release of this new trailer, most of the cast, along with J.K. Rowling appeared on the Today Show. Both a short clip and an extended version of the interview have been released. The cast also appeared on the Today Show Plaza to tease the trailer prior to it’s showing.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald comes out in theaters on November 16.

One Tree Hill fans now have one more reason to look forward to holiday season. In addition to three Lifetime movies starring members of the One Tree Hill cast, the network just announced the one-hour reunion special, ‘Tis the Season: A One Tree Hill Cast Reunion.

The special will air at 10p.m. November 22 on Lifetime immediately following The Christmas Contract, another movie starring several familiar faces. Danneel Ackles, Hilarie Burton, Antwon Tanner, and Stephen Colletti are all confirmed to make an appearance on the special. The network has teased several “surprise special guests” as well, so viewers will definitely have to tune in to see just how many One Tree Hill alumni make appearances!

If you’re still craving more from the One Tree Hill cast, many are set to star in several holiday movies.

The Christmas Contract focuses on web designer Jolie (Hilarie Burton) as she heads home to Louisiana for the holidays. It is her first trip home since her break up with Foster (Hunter Burke). While Foster has moved on, Jolie is still pining for her ex. Best friend Naomi (Danneel Ackles) persuades Jolie to her brother, Jack (Robert Buckley). Naomi drafts a contract between her brother and best friend, as he is in need of a web expert to help sell his novel and she needs a wingman. We can take a guess at what follows. The Christmas Contract will air on Lifetime at 8pm on November 22.

Hometown Christmas stars Stephen Colletti as Nick Russell, the old high school flame of Noelle Collins. They are forced to work together as their hometown tradition, a live nativity scene, runs into multiple problems. Catch this holiday homecoming movie on Lifetime at 8pm on December 16.

Bethany Joy Lenz is starring in Poinsettias for Christmas as Ellie, who must return home just before Christmas to help on the family poinsettia farm. We had writers at Creation Entertainment’s The Giving Back Tour this weekend in Indianapolis, and a review of the con will be coming soon!

However, we wanted to highlight the Saturday Night Special concert and Vendor Jam from the convention, with photos thanks to Kunerkster Photo!

If you’re not familiar with Saturday Night Special, it’s a concert that takes place every Saturday night of the Supernatural conventions, headlined by Louden Swain (Rob Benedict, Billy Moran, Stephen Norton and Michael Borja). The band plays some of their most popular songs, as well as bringing up guests from the convention such as Jason Manns, Matt Cohen, Briana Buckmaster, Richard Speight, Jr., Kim Rhodes and Ruth Connell to sing. The concerts are available as part of some of the packages such as Gold, Silver and Copper, and are available for a separate fee if you have a General Admission or Preferred Seating ticket.

The concerts are a highlight for a lot of the fans at conventions, and they’re unbelievably fun.

As for the Vendor Jam, it’s a small set of acoustic songs performed by Louden Swain usually set in the area of the Vendor room/area. The band will usually have a few instruments, and perform without a mic. It’s a small, intimate setting that a lot of fans really cherish.

Take a look at some of the photos below, thanks to Kunerkster Photo!
