As SYFY announced April 9, “The End is Nigh” for the fantasy drama series Preacher. Creator Seth Rogen shared via Twitter that season four will be its last, much to the dismay of its fans.

Preacher is based on the Vertigo comic book by Garth Ennis and the late Steve Dillon. Rogen is also working with Evan Goldberg and Eric Kripke on a new series based on Ennis and Darick Robertson’s comic series The Boys. The television series of the same name will be streaming on Amazon Prime this summer.
Tune in for the final season of Preacher, premiering Aug 4 on AMC.
