An unlikely group of misfits from across the Marvel Cinematic Universe will soon be banding together. The first teaser trailer for Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts* is finally here.
Thunderbolts* touts an epic ensemble cast, including Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Wyatt Russell as John Walker, Olga Kurylenko as Taskmaster, and Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost. We’ve also been given a look at Lewis Pullman’s character, “Bob” (Robert Reynolds, aka Sentry).
Despite being a teaser, this trailer is a surprisingly long, intriguing, action-packed, and fittingly humorous preview of what’s to come for this group of morally grey anti-heroes who all seem to have one thing in common — they need a purpose.
A new poster for the film has also been revealed.
(And yes, it seems we’ll have to wait until after the film comes out to find out about the belated asterisk in the title.)
Thunderbolts* will hit theaters May 2025.
