A brand new trailer has been released for Wicked, the highly-anticipated adaptation of the novel by Gregory Maguire, and the popular Broadway stage musical.
The movie adaptation stars Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba, Ariana Grande as Glinda, Michelle Yeoh as Madame Morrible, Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero, Ethan Slater as Boq, Marissa Bode as Nessarose, and Jeff Goldblum as the Wizard of Oz.
Bowen Yang, Bronwyn James, Keala Settle, and Peter Dinklage also appear in the film, with Dinklage voicing Dr. Dillamond.
Directed by Jon M. Chu, Wicked is the first of a two-chapter release. Wicked will release on November 22, 2024, and Wicked Part Two is set to release in theaters on November 26, 2025.
Wicked is produced by Marc Platt, and David Stone, who both also produced the Wicked stage musical. The executive producers are David Nicksay, Stephen Schwartz, and Jared LeBoff.
