Momentus has announced two new classes with Jake Abel! Abel, who is a TV and Film veteran, is hosting two online classes which are designed to help you learn more about filmmaking, and perhaps give you some pointers on making your own films!
Abel wrote, directed, and starred in his own short film, Jake & Quarantine, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic as he was quarantining to film the final season of Supernatural.
Along with the classes, you can also purchase two commemorative, signed posters for Jake & Quarantine (or you can also buy a 2-class bundle with the posters).
Here’s more about the classes:
July 6 @ 10am PT/1pm ET – Class 1: Developing Story
Join multi-hyphenate writer-actor-director Jake Abel for the first in his exclusive filmmaking class series to discuss the development of stories and scripts.
- How do you take a concept and put it on the page?
- What must all stories have to be compelling?
- Why is Jake so attractive?
We may answer one or none of these!
September 7 @ 10am PT/1pm ET – Class 2: Shoot for the Stars
Have you ever wanted to make your own short film? Jake will share the basics of film production from start to finish with approachable, actionable steps. Take your story from the page to the screen and get tips on doing it for less than you think!
- What are the key elements of filming?
- How do you know you’ve filmed everything you need?
- Why is Jake such a talented director?
We may answer one or none of these!
This exclusive event is private and virtual.
