‘9-1-1’ Renewed for Season 8!
9-1-1 is here to stay.
Following its changeover to ABC for its seventh season, it has been confirmed that the hit drama series has been renewed for season 8!
The show made the switch to ABC last year after its original network, FOX, opted not to move forward with season 7. The new season’s three-part premiere, which featured this season’s big opening disaster — a cruise ship fiasco, just aired its final part last week.
9-1-1 explores the high-pressure experiences of first responders — including police officers, firefighters and dispatchers — who are thrust into the most frightening, shocking and heart-stopping situations. These emergency responders must try to balance saving those who are at their most vulnerable with solving the problems in their own lives.
The show’s cast includes Angela Bassett, Peter Krause, Oliver Stark, Aisha Hinds, Kenneth Choi, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Ryan Guzman, Corinne Massiah, and Gavin McHugh.
The next episode, “Buck Bothered and Bewildered,” will air on ABC Thursday, April 4 at 8 p.m. ET. New episodes are available the following day on Hulu.
