Marvel Studios has released the official trailer and a holiday themed poster for season 2 of What If…?, the animated series that offers Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) fans a more complex look at what the multiverse has to offer. Given that things have gotten much more complex in the multiverse thanks to entries like Spider-Man: No Way Home, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Loki season 2, and more … it’s safe to say the series’ second season has quite a bit in store for audiences.

Season 2 of What If…? is set to premiere on Disney+ December 22, with subsequent episodes releasing daily for nine days straight. The Watcher returns to guide viewers on another trip through the vast multiverse, introducing new characters and revisiting familiar faces and analyzing how certain twists could impact our favorite Marvel Cinematic moments. This season, fan-favorite characters Hela, Happy Hogan, Nebula and more join the fun with the series continuing to feature an impressive voice cast, including several iconic stars who reprise their roles.

Season 2’s episodes are directed by executive producer Bryan Andrews with executive producer AC Bradley as head writer.

Hannah joined the team in May 2021. If she's not typing away on her keyboard about 'Star Wars', Spider-Man, or horror you can probably find her with a PlayStation controller in her hand. Hasn't stopped crying about Arthur Morgan since 2018 with no plans to stop anytime soon and is convinced she could survive more than five nights at Freddy's. At her core, she's really just an aspiring vampire juice box. Based in Denver, CO.
