On Blumhouse’s release calendar for next year is Imaginary, a film that centers on Jessica who moves back into her childhood home with her family. Her stepdaughter Alice soon develops a concerning attachment to her stuffed bear, Chauncey, which they found in the basement and Jessica becomes increasingly concerned with her behavior. When Jessica intervenes, she’s forced to realize Chauncey is more than just an old stuffed bear.

In news first reported by Variety, several new additions have rounded out the cast including Tom Payne, Betty Buckley, Taegen Burns, Pyper Braun, Matthew Sato, and Veronica Falcón. The new cast members join the previously announced DeWanda Wise, who will lead the horror-thriller.

Imaginary is directed by Jeff Wadlow from a script he co-wrote with Greg Erb and Jason Oremland and is being released by Lionsgate, making its way into theaters March 8, 2024.

Hannah joined the team in May 2021. If she's not typing away on her keyboard about 'Star Wars', Spider-Man, or horror you can probably find her with a PlayStation controller in her hand. Hasn't stopped crying about Arthur Morgan since 2018 with no plans to stop anytime soon and is convinced she could survive more than five nights at Freddy's. At her core, she's really just an aspiring vampire juice box. Based in Denver, CO.
