Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana will be officially opening at EPCOT at the Walt Disney World Resort on October 16.
The attraction, which is a walking trail with water elements, has been allowing cast member previews and will soon have Annual Passholder previews later this month, before officially opening next month.
The trail includes a stunning topiary of Te Fiti, surrounded by beautiful landscapes and water. There are also characters from the film sculpted into the rock that guests can look for, including Pua, Hei Hei, and Moana herself.
There’s a dry or wet path, giving you the option of how much water interaction you’d like. True to EPCOT’s mission, the attraction also teaches you about the water cycle and why it’s important to protect it.
In another surprise, Moana herself will also be available to meet starting October 16.
