Bryan Danielson vs. Zack Sabre Jr. Set for AEW WrestleDream

A dream match is being added to AEW WrestleDream between two of the most decorated technical wrestlers in the world — Bryan Danielson and Zack Sabre Jr.

The two wrestlers met previously in March of 2008 in Triple X Wrestling. The match solidified Sabre Jr. but the rematch has been off the table, until now. At Forbidden Door 2022, Danielson and Sabre Jr. were supposed to wrestle each other, however Claudio Castagnoli ended up replacing Danielson due to injury. Earlier this year while defending his NJPW World TV title against Blake Christian, Sabre Jr. taunted The American Dragon. “Oi Bryan. Bryan, you watching mate? I’m the best technical wrestler in the world,” he said.

AEW WrestleDream takes place in Seattle, Washington at the Climate Pledge Arena on October 1. Tickets are available via Ticketmaster.
