Season 5 of ‘The Crown’ Coming to Physical
Season 5 of the hit Netflix series The Crown will be coming to Blu-Ray and DVD on October 17. The fifth season continues to follow both the public and private lives of the royal family as they navigate new challenges as support for the monarchy begins to show signs of deteriorating.
The official description for Season 5 reads:
“Inspired by real events, this fictional dramatization tells the story of Queen Elizabeth II and the political and personal events that shaped her reign. It’s a new decade, and the royal family are facing what may by their biggest challenge yet, providing their continued relevance of ’90s Britain. As Diana and Charlies wage a media war, cracks begin to splinter the royal foundation.”
The special features included in both the Blu-Ray and DVD copies of the series include:

The Crowns’ ensemble cast includes Imelda Staunton, Jonathan Pryce, Lesley Manville, Dominic West, Jonny Lee Miller, and Elizabeth Debicki. Executive Producers for the series include Peter Morgan, Suzanne Mackie, Stephen Daldry, Andy Harries, Jessica Hobbs, Matthew Byam Shaw and Robert Fox.
