With filmmakers Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, the team known as Radio Silence, busy working on an untitled Universal Monsters film, Scream VII has enlisted a new director for Ghostface’s next reign of terror. Radio Silence directed both 2022’s Scream and this year’s Scream VI.

The franchise remains in good hands, however, with writer and director Christopher Landon attached to take over the helm. Landon is no stranger in the dark when it comes to bringing scares to the big screen, with writing and directing credits including several Paranormal Activity movies, Netflix’s We Have a Ghost, and the Happy Death Day franchise.

Our reviews for Scream and Scream VI can be found here and here. Stay tuned for future updates.
