Sharknado fans rejoice! SYFY announced today that the popular cult film series will have a movie marathon on July 18 that features all the films in the series to celebrate 10 years of the series. The films follow Fin Shepard and April Wexler, portrayed by Ian Ziering and Tara Reid, a husband, and wife who encounter tornadoes filled with sharks; sharknados. Through the different films this duo team up with various groups to fight these terrifying weather events wherever they happen.
Some of the stars that have appeared in the franchise include John Heard, Mark McGrath, Vivica A. Fox, David Hasselhoff, and Olivia Newton-John. The Sharknado franchise is directed by Anthony C. Ferrante with David Michael Latt producing. Thunder Levin wrote the first four films with Scotty Mullen writing the final two films.
