Busch Gardens Tampa Bay has announced that the park’s SandSerpent will be closing soon, with the official last operating day as July 9.

The ride will be closed to bring a whole new experience into the park’s Pantopia area (although no word yet on what will replace it). The 5-story-tall roller coaster was a fun family-friendly ride that has been in operation for 19 years.

Annual Pass Members of Busch Gardens will also receive exclusive early morning access to ride SandSerpent from June 30-July 4.

Busch Gardens is the premiere theme park of the Tampa Bay area, offering 300 acres of attractions. It is also an AZA-accredited zoo, with thousands of animals and exciting seasonal events for guests of every age. For more information and tickets, make sure to visit BuschGardensTampa.com.
