What We Do in the Shadows will return to FX with season 5 on July 13! The announcement was made on the official series’ Twitter page.
Based on the mockumentary movie What We Do in the Shadows (2014), the FX original series gives a comedic look into the nightly lives of four vampires who have lived together for 100 years. Now, the group lives in Staten Island with hopes of taking over the United States while adjusting to modern life.
Season 4 of What We Do in the Shadows first premiered on July 22, 2022, and contained ten episodes. The vampires return from their world travels to find their mansion on the verge of collapse and a freakish new creature in the house. Nandor’s search for love is finally successful; Nadja realizes her lifelong ambition of opening a vampire nightclub, and the audience receives a cliffhanger as one vampire returns to their natural form.
You can catch up on the first four seasons of What We Do in the Shadows by streaming all episodes on FX on Hulu. Don’t forget you’ll also be able to watch new episodes the next day after they air on the streaming service.
