SeaWorld Orlando’s All-New ‘Pipeline: The Surf Coaster’ Opening This Weekend

The moment SeaWorld Orlando guests have been waiting for is finally here as one of the most anticipated coasters of 2023 officially opens to the public. SeaWorld Orlando’s all-new Pipeline: The Surf Coaster will have its grand opening this Saturday, May 27, commemorated with a special ceremony featuring a beach-front ribbon cutting.

Inspired by surfing cultures around the world. The new attraction is the first surf coaster and a first-of-its-kind attraction that features a rise and fall motion of the seats that mimic the sensation of riding a wave, including five airtime movements. The ride will feature a unique surfboard ride vehicle that gives riders an immersive experience as guests take their position in the upright stance of a pro surfer and embark on a journey of twists and turns on an iconic, gnarly surfboard. Riders will encounter five airtime movements, including a thrilling wave curl inversion replicating the well-known “alley-oop” surfing maneuver. This coaster features a track spanning 2,950 feet with a maximum speed of 60 MPH and reaching a height of 110 feet.

If you are brave enough to try out Pipeline: The Surf Coaster, you can find it at the front of the park between Flamecraft Bar and Bayside Stadium. For more information or to buy your park tickets, please visit the SeaWorld Orlando official website here.
