Universal Orlando Resort has released new details about the new Minion Land that will be opening at the Universal Studios theme park this summer.

The new land, located along Illumination Ave., will not only include the much-loved attraction Despicable Me Minion Mayhem but will also be home to the brand new attraction, Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast. In this attraction, “guests compete against each other in a fully interactive gaming experience that’s so much fun, it’s a crime.” Guests will exit through the Evil Stuff gift shop, which should be your first stop for Minions merchandise.

To grab something to eat, you should head over to Illumination’s Minion Cafe. The dining experience will have three themed areas: the Kitchen, the Breakroom, and the Dining Room, where you will be able to see how the Minions themselves cook, work, and dine. The menu includes nearly 20 items inspired by the Minions franchise. This includes items such as Otto’s Noodle Bowl, Agnes’ Honeymoon Soup, Carl’s Crispy Cauliflower, Steak & “Cheese Ray” Sandwich, and Bob’s Teddy Bear Chocolate Cream Puff.

For grabbing some food on the go, you can visit the Minion Cafe express window for a limited menu or Bake My Day, a bakery and retail location. You could also head to Pop-a-Nana to try the banana-flavored popcorn or Freeze Ray Pops to try popsicles inspired by Gru, the Minions, and Vector.

Make sure to visit the Illumination Theater to meet characters such as the Minions, Gru, Agnes, Edith, and Margot. You may also see other characters from Illumination films in the theater and around Minion Land.

Minion Land will be opening this summer, so make sure you take your Minions fans over to Universal Orlando Resort to check it out!
