Carrie-Anne Moss, Frank Grillo, Douglas Smith are among the cast for post-apocalyptic film Die Alone, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Die Alone is set years into the future where society has collapsed after a catastrophic pandemic. Smith’s Ethan suffers from amnesia but he meets Moss’s Mae, a rugged survivalist. Ethan uses Mae’s survival skills to find his missing girlfriend amidst an outbreak of zombie-like creatures but once he encounters Kai (Grillo), a secret from a figment of his memory comes to light.
Kevin DeWalt, Danielle Masters, and Benjamin DeWalt are producing for Minds Eye Entertainment with Scott Martin, Michael Slifkin, and Jack Sheehan of Archstone serving as executive producers. Die Alone is directed by Lowell Dean who is also writing the feature.
Grillo’s recent projects include The Resurrection of Charles Manson, One Day as a Lion, and Lamborghini: The Man Behind the Legend. Moss’s recent credits include The Matrix Resurrections and Chocolate Lizards. Smith can be seen in The Alienist, Don’t Worry Darling, and The Swearing Jar.
