Additional Cast Added to ‘Twisters’
The cast for the upcoming Twister sequel has been rounded out with several new additions — Maura Tierney, Harry Hadden-Paton, Sasha Lane, Kiernan Shipka, Nik Dodani, David Corenswet, Tunde Adebimpe, and Katy O’Brian. No character details have been revealed at this time, as the plot is still under wraps.
The new additions join the previously announced Daisy Edgar-Jones, Glen Powell, Anthony Ramos, Daryl McCormack, and Brandon Perea.
The film comes from Universal Pictures, Warner Bros., and Amblin Entertainment, with Minari‘s Lee Isaac Chung directing. The script is penned by Mark L. Smith (The Revenant) and is described as a “new chapter” of the 1996 movie, which followed Bill and Jo Harding (Bill Paxton and Helen Hunt), a pair of storm chasers hunting down the largest tornado in decades.
