From the moment Lewis Capaldi stepped on stage at The Met in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, I was in awe. Capaldi, a household name in music right now, had an overwhelming presence on stage that blew everyone away, and yet drew them all in just the same.

He opened the show with his recently released and upbeat single, “Forget Me,” a part of his brand new album Broken by Desire to be Heavenly Sent, which is set to be released this week on May 19.

His energy radiated from verse to verse, often drawing the audience to scream the lyrics right back at him. To say Capaldki has an emotional impact on his audience is definitely undeniable. Although most of his songs tell the tale of heartbreak, they are a comfort to so many. You can close your eyes and feel your soul connect to each of his words. When you’re attending a Lewis Capaldi show, you’re in for more than just a bit of cathartic heartache. With his incredibly addictive personality, quick wit, and contagious laughter, Capaldi’s shows are ones you can’t miss.

With his brand new album releasing this week and the success of his first-ever North American tour completed, I am more than ready to watch Capaldi completely dominate the charts with the release of Broken by Desire to be Heavenly Sent. With 4 hit singles already off of the album, they instantly captivated everyone’s hearts during the show. It’s safe to say Capaldi’s music will never fail and making you feel your deepest feelings, and being able to hear him live is an absolute privilege.

You can pre-order the new album, here, and make sure to check it out when it releases on May 19. See some photos from the show at The Met, below!
