Apple TV+ has released a trailer for season 2 of Harriet the Spy, an animation series based on the children’s novel of the same name by Louise Fitzhugh.

The series tells the story of 11-year-old Harriet who wants to be a writer. “In order to be a good writer, she’ll need to know everything. And to know everything means she’ll need to spy … on everyone! This season, follow Harriet as she navigates letting go, growing up, and celebrating the gift of today.”

Produced by The Jim Henson Company, the series stars Bernie Feldstein (Lady Bird) as Harriet and Jane Lynch (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) as Ole Golly, Harriet’s nanny. The cast also includes Lacey Chabert (Mean Girls), Jaeden Martell (It), Brad Garrett (High Desert), Michelle Trachtenberg (Gossip Girl), Kimberly Brooks (Baby Shark’s Big Show), Charlie Schlatter (Big Nate), and many more.

Harriet the Spy will premiere on Apple TV+ on May 5. Make sure you check it out!
