‘Ahsoka’ Teaser Trailer & Release Month Announced at Star Wars Celebration

Something is coming… The highly anticipated teaser for the Ahsoka series was released at this weekend’s Star Wars Celebration in London!

First introduced to live-action in The Mandalorian season 2, Rosario Dawson’s Ahsoka Tano is returning in a series all her own. The series is considered a spin-off within the “Mando-Verse,” the time period aligned with Mando’s post-Return of the Jedi setting.

Despite the Empire’s downfall, as we’ve seen thus far in The Mandalorian season 3, their ideology is not extinct. And now, whispers of Thrawn’s return and his potential of being heir to the Empire has forced old alliances to reform to take on this re-emerging threat.

Alongside Dawson as the titular character, Ahsoka stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Eman Esfandi as Ezra Bridger, Genevieve O’Reilly as Mon Mothma, and Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker, along with Ray Stevenson and Ivanna Sakhno as some red saber wielding baddies (we can assume). Grand Admiral Thrawn is also set to make his live-action debut, but no casting announcements have been made. Despite his appearance in the trailer, no clues have been given either (although speculation on just who the back of that head belonged to will be high).

A new poster for the series was also revealed.
