Sometimes you never really know the ones you love, and Paramount Movies’ upcoming feature Double Life exemplifies just that. Set to release next month, the movie centers on two women seeking answers about a loved one. Ahead of the release, Paramount Movies shared the official trailer.
Double Life follows Sharon (Pascale Hutton), a woman who suddenly becomes a widow after the unexpected death of her husband, Mark. In the midst of her grief, Sharon learns that Mark was cheating on her with another woman, Jo (Javicia Leslie), and that his death wasn’t accident. So, Sharon and Jo team up to discover the truth behind Mark’s death and “unmask the man they both loved.”
The movie was written by Mike Hurst and Chris Sivertson, with the story by Hurst. It was directed by Martin Wood. Additional cast includes Vincent Gale, John Cassini, Carmen Moore, Niall Matter, and Aaron Douglas, among others.
Double Life releases in theaters and digitally on May 5. It will be available On Demand beginning May 19. Check out the trailer and poster below:
