Muppets fans are about to have a lot more mayhem in their lives beginning May 10! Viewers of The Muppets know all about Dr. Teeth and his band called Electric Mayhem. This band of misfits has been given their spotlight by Disney+ in a new series headed to the streaming service.

The teaser trailer highlights how the band has been rocking and rolling for the past 45 years. We have seen them be the band in the background for all these decades, now it is time for them to take center stage. Muppet Mayhem will follow the band on their journey to finally record their first album! The core of Electric Mayhem consists of Dr. Teeth on the keyboard and main vocals, Zoot on saxophone, Lips playing the trumpet, and the one and only animal on drums. Floyd Pepper on bass and backup vocals while Janice plays lead guitar rounds out the band.

This rocking new series will showcase some original songs as well as their classic hits and covers. Adam F. Goldberg will serve as the voice of Dr. Teeth. Goldberg is also one of the creators of Muppets Mayhem alongside Bill Barretta and Jeff Yorkes. This series will also be bringing back past castmates to reprise their roles. Bringing back Zoot is Dave Goelz, Peter Linz as Lips, Floyd Pepper voiced by Matt Vogel, David Rudman as Janice, and Eric Jacobson as the unforgettable Animal. Joining this legendary cast will be Anders Holm, Tahj Mowry, Saara Chaudry, and Kim House.

In the words of the great Kermit the frog, “it’s time to play the music, it’s time to light the lights.” All episodes of The Muppets Mayhem will be available to stream on Disney+ May 10.
