Sequel to ‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife’ Adds Two Huge Names to Cast


Sony’s currently untitled sequel to the hit film Ghostbusters: Afterlife has added two more stars to the growing cast list. Patton Oswalt and Kumail Nanjiani have been cast alongside returning franchise stars to star in the upcoming sequel. The franchise follows the next generation of Ghostbusters as they hunt down ghostly threats from the afterlife.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife starred Mckenna Grace, Paul Rudd, and Carrie Coon, who are expected to return for the sequel. Ernie Hudson is said to be returning as Winston Zeddemore with James Acaster and Emily Alyn Lind slated to star. Gil Kenan is directing the sequel with Jason Reitman, who was the director of the first film, producing.
