Director Jon M. Chu has announced that Wicked: Part One has received a new release date, earlier than originally planned!

The hit musical follows the stories of Elphaba and Glinda as they become the witches we know and love from The Wizard of Oz. The musical is being made into a two-part movie, starring Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba and Ariana Grande as Glinda.

The amazing cast also includes Michelle Yeoh (Everything Everywhere All at Once), Jonathan Bailey (Bridgerton), Jeff Goldblum (Jurassic Park), Keala Settle (The Greatest Showman), and many more.

Originally scheduled to release Christmas 2024, the movie will now be released November 27, 2024. Stay tuned with Nerds & Beyond for updates.
