A new clip from the upcoming thriller The Tutor has arrived ahead of the film’s premiere next week.

The Tutor follows Ethan (Garrett Hedlund), an in-demand tutor who is assigned to instruct a billionaire’s son, Jackson (Noah Schnapp), from their New York waterfront estate. But what should be a straightforward job is complicated by the student’s disturbing obsession with him, threatening to expose his darkest secrets.

The clip below features a conversation between the two, in which Hedlund’s character opens up to Jackson about his own life as he reassures him that his father loves him, awkwardly patting him on the shoulder. Jackson refers to Ethan as a “really special person” before getting up and leaving, which seems to completely rattle the tutor as he curses to himself and locks the door behind him.

Written by Ryan King and directed by Jordan Ross, the film also stars Victoria Justice.

Don’t miss The Tutor when it hits theaters next week on Friday, March 24.
