‘Nosferatu’: Aaron Taylor-Johnson Boards Robert Eggers Film
Robert Eggers’ reimagined Nosferatu remake from Focus Features has rounded out its cast with Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Simon McBurney, and Ralph Ineson.
Eggers’ re-imagination of the 1920s silent horror film Nosferatu follows a young woman (Lily Rose-Depp) in 19th-century Germany. In the shadows, an ancient Transylvanian vampire (Bill Skarsgård) stalks her, bringing untold horror with him. The film also stars Willem Dafoe, Nicholas Hoult, and Emma Corrin. Nosferatu is written and directed by Eggers. Jeff Robinov, John Graham, Eggers, Chris Columbus, and Eleanor Columbus are producing the film, which is currently filming in Prague.
Taylor-Johnson recently wrapped filming on The Fall Guy opposite Ryan Gosling and Winston Duke. He can be seen next in Sony’s Kraven the Hunter as the titular character. Most recently, the King’s Man actor starred in Bullet Train as Tangerine, opposite Brad Pitt and Joey King.
