Last August, a teaser confirmed that Lady Gaga would star in the upcoming Joker sequel.
The singer turned actress is reportedly set to play Harley Quinn and she has shared a first look photo opposite Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker. If true and director Todd Phillips draws inspiration from Quinn’s origins, it could most certainly see her step into the shoes of Dr. Harleen Quinzel before she adopted the Harley Quinn moniker.
Phillips wrote the film alongside Scott Silver. Joker: Folie à Deux is slated to debut in theaters on October 4, 2024.
