Love is in the air, and STARZ is giving Outlander fans a Valentine’s Day surprise. To thank the millions of fans who have celebrated Jamie and Claire Fraser as their favorite fictional couple, STARZ has revealed the brand-new opening sequence for the upcoming seventh season of Outlander.

Each season, Outlanders’ iconic theme, “The Skye Boat Song,” receives a new adaptation, drawing inspiration from storylines and upcoming locations. This season the title will be performed by Grammy-award-winning artist Sinead O’Connor.

We are honored to have Sinead O’Connor performing ‘The Skye Boat Song.’ Her rendition is, for me, a reminder of all that’s beautiful about ‘Outlander.’ She is talented beyond measure. Hers is a voice of the ages — one which pierces heart and soul — and embodies the spirit of the show.

Matthew B. Roberts, Outlander showrunner and executive producer.

Led by Sinead O’Connor, the latest rendition of “The Skye Boat Song” is hauntingly beautiful, honoring the series while paying tribute to O’Connor’s talent and gorgeous voice.

The popular romantic time-traveling drama will return for its seventh season in the summer of 2023. But in the meantime, you can catch up on the first six seasons on the STARZ app.
