Edibiri is set to play Ayesha, Janine’s sister whom she has a rocky relationship with. In the past few episodes, more backstory has been revealed concerning Janine’s upbringing, including the rift between her, Ayesha, and their mother that formed as a result of the latter two’s constant arguments and more. Edibiri is an up-and-coming star, most recently having starred on FX’s hit new show, The Bear, alongside Jeremy Allen White. She is also slated to appear in Marvel’s Thunderbolts and has experience in the writers’ room on projects like What We Do In the Shadows and Dickinson, which she also acted on.
