Pedro Pascal’s ‘SNL’ First Impression Didn’t Go As Planned

NBC has released Pedro Pascal’s first impression with the Saturday Night Live cast and it didn’t go exactly as planned.

Who knew SNL cast clickers right off the apocalyptic streets of The Last of Us? Clearly, not Pedro Pascal, who plays Joel Miller in the adaptation of the beloved Naughty Dog video game of the same name. The Last of Us is currently breaking records at HBO, with its viewership increasing drastically with each episode for the streamer. It was recently renewed for a second season which will be based on Part II of the game series.

The Last of Us stars Pedro Pascal as Joel Miller, Bella Ramsey as Ellie, Gabriel Luna as Tommy, Anna Torv as Tess, Nico Parker as Sarah, Murray Bartlett as Frank, Nick Offerman as Bill, Melanie Lynskey as Kathleen, Storm Reid as Riley, Merle Dandridge as Marlene, Jeffrey Pierce as Perry, Lamar Johnson as Henry, Keivonn Woodard as Sam, Graham Greene as Marlon, and Elaine Miles as Florence. The original voice actors of Joel and Ellie, Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson, both have small roles, with Baker joining David’s dastardly winter crew and Johnson as Ellie’s mother, Anna.

Pedro Pascal’s debut as host of Saturday Night Live airs Saturday at 11:30 p.m. ET/8:30 p.m. PT on NBC and streams live on Peacock with host Pedro Pascal and musical guest Coldplay.
