‘We Were the Lucky Ones’: Ido Samuel and Lihi Kornowski Join Cast Alongside Joey King, Logan Lerman, and More

According to Deadline, Ido Samuel and Lihi Kornowski have been added to the Hulu Originals limited series We Were The Lucky Ones in recurring spots.

We Were The Lucky ones, which has already kicked off filming, stars Joey King, Logan Lerman, Robin Weigert, Michael Aloni, Henry Lloyd Hughes, Hadas Yaron and Lior Ashkenazi in addition to the newest additions mentioned above.

Samuel has been cast as Isaac, whose description per Deadline can be found below.

“A loyal friend, he tries to help Mila (Yaron) and her young daughter Felicia escape the ghetto, but his effectiveness—and his relationship with the Kurc family—is painfully tested by his role in the Jewish Police. 

Likewise, Kornowski will be taking on the role of Eliska, whose character description per Deadline can be found below.

“Young, wealthy and beautiful, she meets Addy (Lerman) on a ship carrying refugees attempting to escape the Nazis.”

This production, based on author Georgia Hunter’s book of the same name, follows a Jewish family who was separated early on during the course of WWII, fighting to reunite with one another.
