The end is near for Riverdale. The previously-announced seventh and final season of the Archie Comics series now has a premiere date. Season 7 of Riverdale will premiere on Wednesday, March 29 at 9 p.m. EST! The CW has also announced the date for the series finale, which will air on Wednesday, August 23, following the series finale of Nancy Drew.

Riverdale ending after its seventh season was first announced in May during The CW’s annual Upfronts presentations. With the town dealing with the Black Hood, Gargoyle King, and more recently TBK and Percival Pickens, season 7 will have the series going out with a bang most likely, especially now that the gang is in the 1950s and are once again teenagers. With Jughead being the only one to remember life Before the Comet, he tries to get back to the present-day,y with Tabitha’s help. A new photo depicts the gang in school, and we get our first look at Nicholas Brarasch as Julian Blossom.
