Jessica Chastain has been noticed in the Actress in a TV Movie or Limited Series category. Chastain shines through her incredible work as Tammy Wynette in Showtime’s George & Tammy. Starring alongside Michael Shannon as George Jones, Chastain helped to bring the country music power couple to the screen. George and Tammy had a complicated and lasting love story that inspired some of the world’s most well-known love songs. Wynette is still widely known as one of the most iconic and bestselling female country artists. Chastain never fails to bring her unmistakable talent and spark to her roles.
Chastain’s star power has continued to grow with every amazing character she brings to life. Following her award-winning role as another famous Tammy, the evangelist Tammy Faye, it is easy to see that Chastain will go down as one of the most talented actresses of our generation.
