“For some reason I cannot fathom or indulge, you seem to like me.” Yes, Wednesday Addams, we do like you. Everyone is thrilled to hear that the creepy, kooky, mysterious, spooky teenager is coming back to Netflix for a second season.

Today, it was announced that Wednesday was renewed for a second season on Netflix. Miles Millar and Alfred Gough, the showrunners of Wednesday, told Tudum that they’re, “Thrilled to continue Wednesday’s torturous journey into season 2.”

Season 1 follows Wednesday Addams after she was expelled from her high school and is forced to attend Nevermore Academy, a school for outcasts that is also Morticia and Gomez’s alma mater. Wednesday famously says on the show that she has been hunted, haunted, and the target of attempted murder at Nevermore. Today, she added on in a message to fans that she’s been mimicked millions of times across the internet. “It’s been torture,” she says. “Thank you.”

Release dates and filming information for Wednesday season 2 are not yet confirmed. Stay tuned for more news.
