Michael B. Jordan Shares New ‘Creed III’ Poster

Fans of the Creed franchise launched by Wakanda Forever director Ryan Coogler, with Michael B. Jordan and Sylvester Stallone, got treated to a new poster image just in time for the holidays. Check out the family portrait featuring Adonis in the ring, with his wife and daughter Bianca and Amara around him, played by Tessa Thompson and Mila Davis-Kent.

Jordan is taking over directing duties for Creed III, marking his directorial debut. It has also been reported that Stallone will not reprise his role in the film. The official trailer description reads:

Still dominating the boxing world, Adonis Creed is thriving in his career and family life. When Damian, a childhood friend and former boxing prodigy resurfaces after serving time in prison, he’s eager to prove that he deserves his shot in the ring. The face-off between former friends is more than just a fight. To settle the score, Adonis must put his future on the line to battle Damian — a fighter who has nothing to lose.

Damian is played by award-winning actor Jonathan Majors (Lovecraft Country, Loki). See the trailer for Creed III below. Jordan is clearly very excited to helm the new installment of the Creed franchise which became a fan-favorite in a long legacy of films created by Stallone featuring Rocky Balboa. Creed III is set to hit theaters on March 3, 2023.
