Prime Video’s original series Harlem is coming back to our screens soon, and season 2 has finally set a release date! The show will return on Friday, February 3. Along with the date, a handful of first look photos from the new season have been released.

Harlem follows a group of four best friends — Angie (Shoniqua Shandai), Tye (Jerrie Johnson), Quinn (Grace Byers), and Camille (Meagan Good) — who live in Harlem, NYC. Throughout the first season, viewers see each woman pursue their various career goals and support each other through the next phases of their lives.

When Season 1 ended, Camille learned that her ex Ian still had feelings for her and she had quit her job. Angie, who was part of a production called Get Out: The Musical, similarly lost her job, as the musical was not legally approved. Meanwhile, Tye had a major health scare and had to confront her husband who eventually began a battle over Tye’s company and money. Finally, Quinn and Isabela kissed, and Isabela accepted Quinn’s offer to go on a date.

Season 2 will pick-up with the love triangle between Camille, her current boyfriend Jameson, and Ian. Tye will begin to face her health head on, Angie will search for financial stability, and Quinn will explore her sexuality more. In an interview with Harper’s BAZAAR, series creator Tracy Oliver also said that the season “is overwhelmingly about Black joy and finding our happiness in the little things in life and learning to accept our version of womanhood, whatever that may be, instead of what society dictates.”

Harlem returns on February 3. Season 1 is streaming now on Prime Video. Check out the new season 2 photos below:
