The first narrative feature from Nadia Conners, The Uninvited, has just officially announced its leading cast. Stars will include Walton Goggins (The Righteous Gemstones), Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian), Elizabeth Reaser (The Haunting of Hill House), and Lois Smith (Lady Bird). This news was first reported by Deadline.
The Uninvited follows the story of a stranger who interrupts a party, provoking a comedy of errors, deep reckonings, and a reordering of life. At this time, further details about the film’s plot still remain under wraps.
However, some additional character information can be found on the film’s website. It looks that we can seemingly expect Goggins to portray Sammy Warren, a high-strung Hollywood agent. Reaser’s character will be Rose Bright, a character who pivots between self-effacing humor and existential dread, and Pascal’s character is known as Lucien Flores.
While Conners will both write and direct, Rosie Fellner, Carlos Cuscó, and Ari Taboada serve as producers, and Cassian Elwes and Naomi Despres are on board as executive producers.
