The fourth installment of Chad Stahelski’s action franchise, John Wick, has received its first trailer.
Wick, who narrowly escaped “death” from Winston and the High Table in Parabellum, is now under the custody of the Bowery King (Laurence Fishburne). If Wick can defeat Marquis (Bill Skarsgård), a new enemy with powerful alliances across the globe, they will grant him release. Wick, having been in cahoots with them, knows that’s not how it works; he doesn’t have a seat there anymore. But his family does.
Michael Finch and Shay Hatten wrote the screenplay for the film which boasts a star-studded cast, including Donnie Yen, Hiroyuki Sanada, Shamier Anderson, Lance Reddick, Rina Sawayama, Scott Adkins, and Ian McShane.
John Wick: Chapter 4 releases in theaters on March 24, 2023.
