‘Tis the season for holiday films and an extra dose of Stratusfaction!
The trailer for the Trish Stratus-led holiday film Christmas in Rockwell has arrived. Stratus stars as Alyssa Strader, a former child actor who rose to fame after starring in a hit Christmas movie filmed in her quaint hometown.
25 years later, after a hit series and a box office flop, Alyssa escapes Hollywood and returns to where it all began. She goes undercover to experience the holidays as she did as a child. In doing so, she meets Jake Wellsey (Stephen Huszar), the handsome owner of a local cinema, who joins Alyssa on her trip down memory lane, and she begins to fall for his small-town charm. Then word gets out to the paparazzi about her whereabouts, and she finds out Jake’s business is on the rocks. Alyssa doubts if returning to Rockwell was the right decision at all.
Sheila McCarthy, Sherry Miller, and Roy Lewis also star in the film written by Luciano Casimiri and directed by Amy Force.
Christmas in Rockwell releases November 8 on Digital and DVD. The film is available for pre-order.
