Lewis Capaldi Announces New Album and Global Tour
26-year-old music sensation Lewis Capaldi has announced a brand new album as well as an upcoming global tour in Europe, the U.S., and Australia.
After his new song “Forget Me” flew to the top of the UK charts — his third song to do so — Capaldi has delighted fans by announcing it is just the start of his new album! Although, with its unforgettable introduction via a TikTok livestream during his sold-out London shows last month and its nearly 100 million global streams already, “Forget Me” has set expectations for the album high.
That being said, Capaldi’s debut album was a stunning success; in fact, Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent was the biggest-selling album in the UK for both 2019 and 2020! So it is no surprise that when the new album, Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent, was announced, fans actually crashed Capaldi’s website in their rush to preorder it for its release on May 19, 2023 from EMI Records. You can pre-order Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent here.
However, fans don’t necessarily have to wait until May to hear more from Capaldi, as he will be headlining the Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent Global 2023 Tour starting in January. The full arena tour dates are listed in the photo below, and tickets will be available for pre-sale on October 26 and general sale on October 28. For more information, head over to Capaldi’s website.
