The Winchesters “Pilot” (read recap here) debuted to excellent ratings, becoming the most-watched fall premiere this year for The CW. One of the many easter eggs included in the premiere was the return of Gil McKinney, who played Henry Winchester on flagship series Supernatural, in the form of a voiceover. It seems like we’ll be getting even more McKinney later down the line this season. As reported by TVLine, McKinney is set to make a physical appearance on-screen in episode 7!

The Winchesters stars Drake Rodger, Meg Donnelly, JoJo Fleites, Nida Khurshid, Bianca Kajlich, and Demetria McKinney. Supernatural alums Jensen Ackles and Danneel Ackles of Chaos Machine Productions executive produce alongside Robbie Thompson, who executive produces and writes.

The Winchesters airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on The CW. You can find our other coverage of the show here, including our recent interview with the cast and production team. Be sure to check out On The Road Again, Nerds & Beyond’s podcast covering all things The Winchesters!
