‘Wednesday’ Releases Trailer at New York Comic Con; Fred Armisen Joins Cast

During Netflix’s Wednesday panel at New York Comic Con, the streamer confirmed that Fred Armisen will join the cast as Uncle Fester! The reimagining of the iconic character by Tim Burton has been building buzz for months, with Jenna Ortega’s version drawing praise from fans. Netflix also released a brand-new trailer.

Wednesday‘s first season is set to debut on November 23, 2022. Alongside Ortega, it stars Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Isaac Ordonez, Victor Dorobantu, and George Burcea, alongside Gwendoline Christie, Jamie McShane, Percy Hynes White, Hunter Doohan, Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Naomi J. Ogawa, and Moosa Mostafa.
