‘Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur’ Gets Season 2 Renewal + Shares Main Title

At this year’s New York Comic Con, some of the cast and crew of Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur were on site to preview the show coming early next year. During the panel, they shared some insight about the show including how the show came to be, connecting with the characters, and more. Executive producer Steve Loter also dropped some pretty exciting news. The series has already been greenlit for a second season!

Based on the Marvel comics, Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur is an animated series that follows 13-year-old Lunella Lafayette (Diamond White), aka Moon Girl, a super-genius who teams up with her 10-ton dinosaur, Devil, to protect the Lower East Side from those who try to destroy it.

Along with the season 2 news, the show’s main title sequence was released. It was written and produced by executive music producer Raphael Saadiq, with vocals by White. Additional cast includes Fred Tatasciore as Devil Dinosaur, Gary Anthony Williams as Pops (Lunella’s grandfather), Alfre Woodard as Mimi (Lunella’s grandmother), Jermaine Fowler as James Jr. (Lunella’s father), Sasheer Zamata as Adria (Lunella’s mom), and Libe Barer as Casey. Laurence Fishburne recurs as The Beyonder.

The series is executive produced by Fishburne, Loter, and Helen Sugland’s Cinema Gypsy Productions. Disney Television Animation produces.

Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur premieres on Disney Channel on February 10, following shortly after on Disney+. Stay tuned for more coverage out of NYCC for the series, and check out the main title below.
