Weeks before the flagship show The Walking Dead airs its series finale, AMC has revealed the first look at Dead City, the upcoming spin-off starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Lauren Cohan.
Plot points are being kept tight-lipped for now. However, based on the photos, the pair seem to be traveling through a decimated metropolis. One has to wonder: has Maggie forgiven Negan for everything he’s done or is he finally becoming the hunted? Hopefully, the finale of TWD provides additional context.

The six-episode first season is due in April 2023. Filming is currently underway in New Jersey.
