Netflix Nordic has released the first four minutes of Young Royals season 2, which is set to release worldwide on November 1, 2022.
Young Royals is a Swedish teen drama series that centers around the romance between the fictional Prince Wilhelm of Sweden (Edvin Ryding) and his boarding school classmate Simon Eriksson (Omar Rudberg).
The Netflix Original series premiered in 2021 and was immediately renewed for a second season.
In the four-minute clip released on Netflix Nordic’s YouTube channel, Wilhelm dreams of his romance with Simon, recalling their time together. After getting out of bed, he receives a text from August (Malte Gårdinger), his cousin, who begs his forgiveness for exposing Wilhelm and Simon’s relationship in season 1.
Wilhelm, it seems, is not in a forgiving mood just yet.
“Stop calling! You destroyed everything,” Wilhelm replies. “I’ll make your life a living hell!”

Netflix previously released a series of images for season 2, teasing “friendship, secrets, revenge, and a threat to the monarchy.”
